Back in the day, I knew all of my friend’s phone numbers by heart. Well, my friends, the local pizza joint, and my parent’s work digits. Ask me for one of those numbers today and I’ll quickly reach for my cell phone. Crazy how time and technology shape habits. One of the coolest things about cell phones today is the camera. Now, wherever you go you have a phone at your fingertips…and, they take pretty good pictures!
This months Clickin Moms Creative Exercise was aptly named Mobile Phone. I have to admit, this month’s exercise was kinda easy for me. I am always snapping pics, mostly for Instagram and anytime I am inspired. If you are on Instagram and aren’t following me already, do it. Right now! I promise to fill your feed with good stuff.
My first set of images is from my trip to Montana. Man, I love Montana. Not only does part of my family live there, but those skies are awesome! Hello, Big Sky Country!
Around my house and neighborhood…
The next two sets are from a few sessions I had last month. I shot a wedding at Gray’s Crossing in Truckee – talk about a gorgeous setting for a wedding! Just below that is a pic of me in a hard and a vest (that’s a first) and a little cutey on her bed. Have I mentioned lately how much I love what I do?!
Lastly, my plumeria finally bloomed! I have been waiting, patiently, for this bad boy to bloom. It took about seven years to do so. Based on what I read, it usually takes 2-3 years before it blooms. However, where you live plays a huge part in that. I have to give a HUGE thank you to The Boy. The attention he gave to my tree is the reason it is blooming today. Thank you!! Oh, and I have to mention the scent…to. die. for. Now all I need is some sand between my toes and a Mai Tai!
After you are done checking out my post, please head over to Lea’s blog and check out her images!
